Salah satu contoh kasus, dimana pekerjaan design electrical menggunakan methode yg dipakai oleh pipeline engineer berikut ini:

Di salah satu proyek, saya pernah melakukan on-bottom stability untuk kabel submarine dengan menggunakan rumus dan metode yg dipakai untuk submarine pipeline berdasarkan standard DNV. Dengan mengikuti step by step sebagaimana on-bottom stability study untuk pipeline, radius pipeline diganti dengan radius kabel (pipa tanpa rongga), maka hasil study adalah kabel submarine perlu diberi pemberat x-kg pada setiap interval x-meter.
